Simulator Hitting Leagues
The Simulator is a projection screen giving the appearance of a pitcher actually throwing a baseball. Plans are to have 5 person hitting teams in the age groups 9-10 & 11-12. Points will be awarded for hitting during the season which is scheduled during the month of November and end early December on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The winning teams will receive awards. Registration is $40 per person-each participant will receive a jersey. The program will be held at the Southern Pines Ag & Expo Center.
A demonstrations will be held on Thursday, November 3rd at 6pm at the Ag & Expo Center- bring your own bat. For questions call Spook or Danny at DLCRA 478-277-5060. Pre-registration is perferred.

Youth Baseball
Baseball is open to all boys ages 4-14 in the leagues listed below. Registration takes place the first three weeks of February and price varies by age. For more information please contact 277-5060. To determine league boys will play the age they will be on May 1st of the current playing year. Instructional Tee 4 Instructional Tee 5 Tee 6 Tee 7 Bantam 8 Mite 9 Mite 10 Midget 11& 12 Junior 13 & 14 All practices and games are held at Southern Pines Regional Park and a season typically runs 2 to 3 weeks for practice and a 10 game schedule, playing to 2 games per week. Games are held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening. With a chance to play on Wednesdays for any make-ups. Games are played on week nights due to tournaments being held at the Park.
